Safety razor stand

I'm not sure how many of you saw my thread about the sword stand that I made for my straight razor. Well, I had the day off today so I decided to carve a matching stand to keep a safety razor on. I think the wood is oak (it was a piece of a dressing table draw I had kicking around) with a natural bees wax finish. I wanted a nice organic shape so I think it came out OK.

is it secured, looks like one hard door slam or floor vibration may tip it over...but nicee stand though

No no, it's quite secure, especially with a handle heavy razor. I can tap it hard enough to make it spin 90 degrees and the razor stays put. The base flairs out and the indents holding the razor are fitted more deeply than they look.

I'm with BakerBarber, Its a little on the creepy side, looks like its being held by a thumb and index finger , so i can kinda see where he got that Mummy creepy idea from /
