Me too. Great color saturation, amazing blacks, and enough of a treat out of the box that it took another decade before I replaced it with a 32" calibrated Sony XBR.

I remember buying a 27” RCA for $500 in 1992/93. I recently picked up a killer 65” for the same price.

Pretty hard to spend over $1000 on a tv these days unless you go for the absolute latest and greatest.

Crazy how prices of technology has dropped and how many of our electronics are now disposable. Generally not worth bothering to repair tvs, microwaves, toasters, etc.
