What is SABRE?

SABRE is the Shavette And Barber Razor Enthusiast Group. We are found in Clubs and Brotherhoods and have an S.O.T.D in the Single Edge Forum. If you have an interest in using a replaceable blade straight razor please join us as many times as you can during the month of September.
We had a very successful Challenge last year and hope that you will join us for 2024.

Omega 10108 Boar - Vitos Red - Dovo Shavette - Cloud 77 #3 - Lynx Dark Temptation AS

A lovely shave. The 77 Type blade certainly benefits from the use of a good quality razor. The AS is however a different matter. I think a complaint to Unilever is in order. This one is broken. My wife normally can't keep her hands off anything chocolate but the Dark Temptation (chocolate) had no effect on her whatsoever. Very disappointed

Aftershave: Bootlegger's El Dorado

The best shave, to date, that I've had from any of my AC blade straights!

You only need to post your Replaceable blade razor shaves. If you want to use anything else during the month......that is entirely up to you. Just needs to be SABRE. If you have one SABRE shave.....that qualifies.

I see that we both have "The Sickness". Just ordered a Kai Kasho Captain Woody Professional Folding Japanese AC blade razor.

Just did a week of differebt SABRE razors. I've settled on the Feather SS Artist Club Folding Straight. The task now is to practice technique.

When I get the Kai Kasho, I'll have to get used to it.

You will love it. I have the Kai Kasho in wood and it is excellent.
