Return a bent comb?

So I ordered a 1904/1906 Merkur classic OC and received it with a bent tooth. It is bend downward so doesn't seems to be too much of an issue and I ordered from a popular vender here, so I'd hate to be a pain. Is this enough of an issue that I should return it or just keep shaving?

Personally, I would. It may be a little hassle but when I buy new I expect new and the vendor can easily recoup its losses on shipping and probably with the manufacturer. That's just me though.

If a tooth is bent there is a high probability that it has been dropped.

Don't uses it, contact the vender and exchange it for an undamaged one

I agree with Mick and Sean--if a tooth was bent, that means it was dropped somewhere along the line. While the tooth is visible damage, there me other, more subtle damage that would only be revealed when shaving with it. Not worth the chance, if you ask me.:thumbdown

^^^ Ditto!

a 'popular vendor' here is almost certainly going to WANT to put things right from my experience with dealing with them. Give them the chance to impress you and get your business for life :biggrin1:
