Restorations - Latest Batch Ready for Knots

Ok... from left to right.

Little Butterscotch - 22mm hole.
VDH - 26mm hole, sanded to get rounded shape and filled lines with black epoxy and sanded smooth.
Black/Tortoise - 20mm hole, sanded all the ridges smooth, and polished.
Black/Red - 26mm hole, sanded and smoothed.
Gimbels 750 - 20mm hole, sanded and polished.

All of them have been fully cleaned out and refilled with epoxy. I am hopefully going to be getting a batch of knots from TGN shortly to put into these guys.

Yes. My Rubberset unscrewed between the colors and when I did the restore
I epoxied it as to not unscrew.

Interesting. Never noticed. I just cleaned anything that was inside out and epoxied it. Not sure it is EVER going to come apart again.

EF - I really REALLY like what you did with the VDH handle ;) Looks great
+1 ... I never thought a VDH could look that good.

Is that one of the Deluxe handles, like you can buy at CVS for around $7.50?

And is there any way to add weight to that handle? I've admired the brush itself, but it seems too unbalanced to me, with the bristles being much heavier than the handle.

Yep. Standard VDH brush. You can add weight to it if you want. Lead shot works well....
