It's time for

Razorocktober

That's right all you Razorockers out there, its the month of October, and I'd like you to join me in renaming it and celebrating Razorocktober! A month dedicated to using and appreciating one of our favorite brands in all of traditional wetshaving, Razorock!

The idea here is simple! For your shaves during the month of October commit to using at least one Razorock product in any aspect of the shave. Be it soap, croap, aftershave, razors, brushes... any and all Razorock products count! And with so much variety of great stuff it should not be a challenge to do! Then visit this thread and share with us whatever and however you like about what you used and how it worked for you. SOTD pics are fantastic, product reviews or a simple shout out to say you used something Razorock today. Basically anything goes, just share the love!

Last thing, I encourage the spreading of the label Razorocker! Add it to your sig line, say it loud and proud. Show the rest of the board you are a true Razorock fan, a Razorocker!

Most excellent...happened to shave with Mudder Foker this morning...a wonderfully slick, protective soap with thermal mudd in it that smells of tobacco, booze, vanilla and poweder. Here's the combo I used:

Brush: Semogue Owners Club (boar)
Blade: Feather
Razor: EJ DE86
Pre-shave: Giovanni fragrance free (rubbed into face while showering to let it sit)
Soap: RR Mudder Foker (made mounds of merangue-like lather)
Post-shave: Clubman Complete Balm
Cologne: Serge Lutens Fumiere Turque

Note: the Fumiere Turque is a wonderful complementary cologne for Mudder Foker. I could also see Pinaud Special Reserve working just as well. Just think dark, old world, smokey and refind....I had been waiting for a soap that would complement such colognes for a long time...Razorock delivers!!!!

Im going to have to grab some MF on my next order, which is waiting (very impatiently lol) for the new IB Semogue brush. I keep hearing good things about that soap, and I want some before its gone!

I dont actually have a shave for today to share, but yesterdays included a generous spritz of the RR King Louis AS Lotion. IMO the best AS product I've ever used!

Well I just joined the crazy folks over in the 3017 thread and have not chosen what to start with. I think in honor of Razorocktober I will use start with one of the croaps I have, I think the Chianti Lavender will be a good one to start with. Count me in.

I could probably join in even if it weren't a special event. I've been using King Louis aftershave wax almost exclusively, as it is, by far, my favorite aftershave. That stuff does wonders for skin.

Remember, it only has to be one of any RR product, not just the soaps and not exclusively RR only shaves. Balms are good, any AS is good, the new RR razors just released yesterday, the preshave soaps or lubes or gels, heck even the deo spray, alum stick or bath soap (which is great btw)! It should be pretty easy to incorporate just one Razorock product in there somewhere!

I have tried XXX, King Louis with matching AS wax, the regular shave gel, and finally my favourite- FRESCO! I love this stuff.

I'm in, started off this morning with the Nervous Wreck. The scent is mild but pleasing but the lather it produces is top notch! Going with S.Maria in the morning...

Yup. That's the one. It's a lime glycerine bar.

So far so good. It's only been a couple days, but I like it. Best scent from a preshave so far.

I only recently tried RR croaps, but it was instant love. So count me in! Boston Tea Party this morning. My new favorite scent in all of shaving! Fresco is in the mail and should arrive in a few days.
