I just finished my fifth great shave with a Rapira Platinum Lux blade. My #1 blade for months has been the Med Prep. It's early in the comparison process (and counter-intuitive to me), but I'm actually feeling like the RPL is working better for me than the Med Preps. I'm interested in others' experience with this Russian "sleeper" . . .

really like the lux's and actually i think the sweedish supers and even better if you like the lux try the sweed's. i want to get some to have on hand
I too found the lux very smooth nice blades
I really like like the lux , top blade from thier factory . 2nd would be the voskhod

I find the RPL to be....adequate. Quite a bit below the Voskhod and the Ladas in performance and in compatibility with my various razors. I just finished my second pack and I won't be buying more.
