Question for the Fasan lovers

Hi,

Neither.

There is only one angle where the entire blade works. To within 2-3 degrees. And, one has to rotate the handle whilst moving the razor across the curving landscape. If one gets out of the zone, part of the blade stops cutting. If one goes way outside the zone, like to the far ends of the Steep and Shallow angles usually discussed, a blade corner will tend to dig in and cause a nick.

This is with the DoubleSlant. The Single Slant, like the copy PAA makes, would not be so precise in this regard.

I was assuming the OP was referring to the one PAA copied and it just happened to come up in my rotation tonight and so I paid attention to the angle. It prefers a very steep angle at first for WTG and mid steep for the other two passes. I find that a shallow angle will just make a lot of noise but not really shave close.
