I'm starting to build a straight collection (egads!) and I've come into purchasing this Puma. It's marked Puma 42 3/8 on the tang. I've looked high and low for information and I can't find any. Do you think the 3/8 refers to the blade size and 42 for the model number?
Wouldn't that be kind of small? I'm not sure at what place one starts to measure a blade. I've attached some pictures.
Can anyone tell me anything about this razor? I'm a beginner here with straights. It's in wonderful condition and i'd like to keep it for display if nothing else.
