What's new

Played with Williams

Since there there was nothing goin on today, I had a pretty relaxed (lazy) morning/afternoon. I spend part of the morning reading kilt & shaving stuff, all while mapping the beard. Beard mapping I had only heard about here (sanx B&B).

While I showered I put the brush on the bowl to soak. After I dried off I covered the puck with hot water in my glass. I then dumped the mug water & squeezed the brush. After dumping the glass of water into the mug I loaded the brush. I then started to working lather. I figger within 4 minutes I had firm lather, enough to shave 2 people. If I didnt have gimpy fingers I could likely take that down a lot. Anyone who has whisked eggs knows how to make this work! This isnt the best way to do it. Its quicker to add water as you go, but I was playing. I think next time I start with a dry brush & puck then add water to the puck & see what happens.

I brushed the lather on the face & worked it into the face. I shaved taking note of my beard map. After shaving I lathered the face again. Without a doubt, that was the best shave Ive yet to have!

I topped it all off with some Old Spice Classic.

A great shaving experience

You know it took me much longer to crack the Williams code, but once you do it really is a pretty good shave soap for the price and besides I can purchase it within 4 miles of my little home town.

For the price, probably cant beat it. I can usually get a decent lather, but the glide is a step up. Very slick with soft water. Problem is that my wife tells me I smell like Liquid Pledge when I use it. She's absolutely right, but funny how I didn't ever notice until she said something.

Must be a guy thing. Ive never noticed a scent until I took a sniff. It does have citrus scent.

Reading about the latest introductions to the Wonderful World of Williams brings a tear to me misty old eyes. (Sniff!)

Or, it could just be that citronella scent acting like CS again.

With Williams, if youre willing to put in the time & work on your skills, youll be rewarded handsomely. Not unlike a woman.
