Plaisir platinum converter advice

I am considering starting with this pen and converter, but see no instructions anywhere on how to fill the converter, forgive me if this has been discussed before as not all of us have been here for that long, Thanks!

You fill the converter by first attaching it to the back side of the nib section and filling though the nib. Dip the tip until the nib/feed is submerged and turn the knob, you'll see it filling.

Then give the grip area a good wipe with a paper towel or tissue.

Nice work sharing that vid, Doug. I remember my first converter fill. It doesn't seem easy or so straight-forward until you watch someone do it themselves!

Will this be your first fountain pen?

If it is and you'd like to spend less money, you could try getting a Platinum Preppy instead which has the same nib as the Plaisir but has a plastic body.
