Penhaligon's Shave Cream

Everybody always talks about the tallow versions of Penhaligon's shave soaps, but I couldn't really find any conversation on their creams. At around $40.00 (USD) for a 5 oz tube, it's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd buck up if it ranked up there with some of my other favorites (T&H, Acca Kappa, Domenico Caraceni, etc.).

What say you, B&B?

Great stuff all around - my advice would be to wait for a free shipping sale from theenglishshavingcompany.com. Even when the shipping isn't free the penhaligon's shaving creams are less than $30.00 (once VAT is deducted).

Douro and Opus are very good, and BB is amazing. Their Castile is probably my single favorite cream.

I love BB, but my favorite Pen's cream is Endymion. A little goes a long way, and those creams are worth every penny.

+1 on Endymion. I like the scent much better than BB and Opus. It's a great performer too.

I am just finishing a jar of the BB - IMO a fine cream, great sent, beautiful presentation but really no better than creams costing less. If you don't mind spending a few extra dollars you will be pleased.

As I like Opus 1870 EDT, I decided to splurge and go for the shaving cream as well.

I have found just a pea sized amount allows me to whip up enough lather for a nice 4 pass shave.

Expensive? Absolutely. But a nice performing cream with a scent I truly enjoy.
