Pelikans

Good morning, as we are speaking of Pelikans I have a vintage 120 Type 1 and a, maybe, M250 of more recent origin, maybe 1998-1999

Reading on thepelikansperch[.]com website the pen seems to be an M250
Barrel black, crown cap dark blue. Nib M with incision 14C-585 which dates it to Post-1997
Grey transprent window, at least this is what it looks like.

Is this really an M250 ?

I’m no expert, but it looks like an M250 to me. M200 body with a 14K nib. Congrats, that’s a cool pen. I kinda wish Pelikan would bring it back to compete with the Lamy 2000, Platinum 3776, Pilot CH 74, etc.

Two M800s - a broad and an XF. The XF is the demonstrator, which I should have kept in box as a collector's item but love to write with so much it sits on my desk at home and gets daily use.

The ballpoint on the right is an EDC, in my pocket most days, and gets so much use that the brass has worn through.

I would love to see everyone else's Pelikans. Anyone else care to post pictures?

For years a black M 200 was the pen the Meisterstuck sat in the drawer. I finally ditched the Montblanc and for more years the M 200 with a fine nib was it for daily blue black work. (i had a cheap Waterman for red ink.). After retiring I got the green striped M 400 with the extra fine nib. Pelikan nibs running a little wide the 200 was an extremely comfortable but wet writer. The extra fine writes just as comfortably but far more dry. It is ideal posted and has improved my spidery writing.

That's such an iconic design. Love 'em! I've got a few but mostly the old style, top (less bling like the red one).
