bought this Peerless handle over 2 years ago, had it sitting in a drawer waiting for the right knot.
Had this WD 22mm Silvertip waiting around in a drawer will I hunted for the right handle.
Needing some brush gratification, I thought "Why knot?"
This turned into one of my favorite brushes.
The original handle has a sort of "five and dime" store look...but it has grown on me, especially that 12-faceted top on the 6-sided green bottom. That black material is really hard...and a little too porous to polish perfectly.
Had to open it up to set the knot at 49mm...my sweeeet spot. A little splay, but not moppy, and it lets go of lather easily. Love the 22---just right for me.
i added some weight so it has a nice feel. It's just a happy brush.
If anyone knows any particulars about this brush model, please share. It looks art-deco like to me. No model # is visible.
