Parker pure badger

So I picked this http://www.razorsdirect.com/catalog/item/7409119/7780048.htm up yesterday and some gillette super platinum (black) to try out. I was a little skeptical, due to the poor reviews of their razors, but the reviews on amazon were predominantly positive. However, I couldn't much if any info on the forums or youtube. Can anyone give a firsthand account about quality, fit/finish, durability and performance of this brush? I was seriously considering their king size version that also had a 24mm knot, but I found nothing on that one. So I pulled the trigger and hoping I made a good decision.

Thoughs...

I haven't tried the Parker brushes but I am a big fan of their razors. Especially considering what they are priced at. I would suspect that you did not make a bad decision on the brush. Hopefully you'll get someone else chiming in that owns one.

I actually had my heart set on a Parker 91R as my first, but was warned that although Parker has come a long way as far as quality control, they still had some inconsistencies that hadn't yet been worked out. I went with the DE89 barley instead and am very happy, I may pick up Parker's heavyweight TTO soon though.
As far as the brush goes, I'm just hoping to not get burned. I'm new to the hobby and I found it's something I really enjoy, I just can't afford to throw money away on gear that won't hold up. My first brush was a Semogue 1305 and I'm very pleased with it, the second was a supposed VDH badger that came with their luxury kit, however I think the brush is actually a boar. It looks nothing like the brush in the ad or the one in the kit I opened at Target. It's very scritchy and you can tell it was trimmed to achieve the bulb shape. So you see why I'm so pensive about buying a cheaper brush.
My hope is that some of the reviewers on Amazon are also members here and can give a fair evaluation of it.
