I admire your conviction. I travel every other year to Wrigley and down to Flushing to see the Mets. Ballparks are like visiting cathedrals for me.
Not to speak ill of one's religion, but I think it's time you found some new Churches.

My summer ritual of punishment.
Completely understand what you mean by cathedrals. I was able to go to Wrigley and look at it from the outside. Season was over ( missed the playoffs again ) but it was a pretty site. Can't think I wouldn't have had fun had I seen an actual game.
