I used to love shows like:
Sea Hunt.
Broken Arrow.
The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin.
Squiddley Diddley. (Cartoon)
F Troop.
Daniel Boone.
The Saint.
The Pretenders.
Dusty’s Trail.
Gilligan‘s Island.
HR Puffnstuff.
Captain America. (Cartoon)
The Hillbilly Bears. (Cartoon)
The Incredible Hulk. (Cartoon).
Speed Racer. (Cartoon)
Superman with George Reeves.
Casey Jones.
Banana Splits.
The Adventure of QT Hush (Cartoon)
Like that joke attributed to Mark Twain:Speed Racer was my favorite show when I was in third grade.
They didn't run it on television during the Summer.
I was really looking forward to it after my first day of fourth grade.
Third grade me thought it was the greatest thing imaginable.
Fourth grade me couldn't believe how bad it was.
Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood
Now that I think about it, Tobor the 8 Man likely rattled around in my brain since the 60s and partially contributed to my screen name here....Eighth Man and Gigantor were on back to back,
when I got home from school.
Completely agree! I loved Soupy Sales.QI think the one that made the biggest impression on me because it was written (and improvised) as humor aimed squarely at kids, but treated the audiece as intelligent and was funny as hell was the Soupy Sales show.
I just got that and Mighty Mouse.
Love it.
But it's the 60's color version, not the earlier black and white.
