Ozaki Kiita from Alex

Hi all,

I hope you are all doing well? With all this eye candy of people's new Jnat's I thought it was high time I showed my new Ozaki Kiita from Alex.

One photo with my Naguras and one with slurry raised from a DMT.

Edges from this stone are very mellow and buttery. HHT right off the stone not as punchy as off my Ozuku Asagi but never fear after a good stropping it's right up there.

That slurry looks creamy and fine. Particles can be seen but that's not a bad thing as it's their ability to break down that really drives the finishing properties! How are the edges?

Thanks guys, as for the edges they are very mellow and 'zippy' and a dream to hone on.

Indeed...Alex told me that the diagonal stripes or movement is typical for stones that came from the Ozaki mine.
