Old Type: Gold or Brass?

I just received this razor:

It's cleaned up ok after being in the ultrasonic, but I'm wondering what else I can do to clean it. Does anyone know if it's actual gold plating, or just brass? If it's just brass, I think it would clean up nicely with MAAS.

They were gold plated, but whether the plating is still there or if it's worn down to brass, only you will be able to determine.
