Hi

Ok so te handle is sterling, what about the head? The s/n on this razor is 388442 B. , I see in the example above it ends in A .
I weight my example on a stamps.com scale that only displays in oz ... Reads at 1.9 oz which converts to 53.86 g but the silver traveler on r razor is 55g , which is 1.94 oz my scale does not display 1/100 of an oz ....so I think this razor does weigh 55 g.

I also bought another sterling marked handle razor with the same style head an s/n 314598 B .

HI Bakerbarber

I just want to understand your one word answer ( no insult is implied ) .... "Tiffany" so are you saying the second set I posted with the little sterling box and telescopic handle is a tiffany set ? but not signed Tiffany ? I also want to thank you for commenting on my set as I cant seem ti find too much via searching.

Best regards

There were some made by Tiffany, and some made by others. The Tiffany sets are marked as such. I believe the OP's first set is made by Kerr, because I believe I see that axe hallmark, and also other similar sets were made by Wm B Kerr. On the other, it's hard to say. I have an unmarked one as well and have never found out who made it.
