OCtober 2022 - Let's Put the OC in OCTOBER

It's getting CLOOOOOOOOSE!!!! I've already picked out two-OC razors -- that's right, it'll be an OC Daily Double!!!! The exact razors to be used are a secret, but both are considered "pioneers" in their respective blade category (SE & DE)....hmmm, I've probably said too much.

I have the same two razors. 🫢

Absolute best lather from this soap. Rich, creamy, and very slick!! Whip-up up perfectly with the excellent brush. Somehow...the splash just goes well with the soap! A nice relaxing shave with the razor and blade combo. Uneventful 3passes for a bbs-dfs finish...

I'll open my OCTober account courtesy of @kingfisher Ikon Brass SBS / Handle was turned by myself Wizamet Wild West with a Timberwolf Knot Palmolive Shave Stick Yes I did just use the OC Side of it and ended up with a BBS. Its a bit of an overkill for a Saturday but WTH....... Have an awesome weekend everyone.

Starting OCtober with the staple of open comb razors - the R41. And boy did it deliver. Two passes and I was smooth. Was using the third pass as toch up on the jaw line at first but decided to make it a full pass to get to the marble finish this razor is so renowned for. Not all bits are as marble, so 9/10 for that one. Using the excellent soap the razor was very smooth. I had the sense the blade might be over its top, but not entirely sure - although the two weepers are a giveaway. Brush lost two hairs again today and returned to its previous behaviour of sucking up my lather for the second and third pass. Hmm..
