There will be. And with a @Rosseforp GTC 25g handle.I would have loved to see the original handle and FAILED to recognize the razor at first sight. I know you like your custom handles, this one just happens to have a fairly nice one by default. But maybe there will be some more Vectors in NOCvember.
This +1.I agree, the original Vector handle is beautiful. Too long, skinny, and heavy for my taste. I have thought of cutting the end off and drilling it out. I don't much care for the Blackbird handle either, wish Shane would just sell the head assembly like Wolfman and many others do.

That's a razor I always wanted to try but didn't order eventually. It is reputated to be decently manufactured and an upper medium aggressive razor, do you agree @Halfbeard?
But it seems Yintal (Weishi) has updated the razor head in the meantime (to a milder version, as it seems)... on the other hand, it still does cost next to nothing, on offer now right now for 16 bucks and coins, with a stand
Got one of the old Yintals around here somewhere.I have also understood that the Yintal cap makes the R41 more aggressive as well - at least with the apparently older version.
I think my local shave shop has the older one in stock.
I plan on giving my Vector a little more attention than it has been getting lately. The Feather Proguard only had a few shaves on it, but felt, sluggish. It wanted to be pushed around, and was a fun shave, but I had stubble when I woke up twelve hours later. There will be. And with a @Rosseforp GTC 25g handle.
The Ti Vector is up to bat tomorrow for Single Edge Sunday.I plan on giving my Vector a little more attention than it has been getting lately. I'll try a Pink Kai for a few shaves, then maybe slip in a Proline for a few shaves too. I also want to feel the difference between using my 25 gram Common handle like with my last shave, and my 35 gram SR handle.

This looks an awful lot like the Schick Platinum.View attachment 1741709
November 1st, shave 1 with Astra 501 razor and vintage Astra stainless blade from around 1993.
You have a good eye! The Astra 501 razor is a clone to the Schick Platinum. There`s also a Russian made razor a clone to the Schick too. This looks an awful lot like the Schick Platinum.
My razor has 3 ribs on the base plate that support the blade, so more support than the one you had.I wasn't in love with the razor and no longer own it, but it was an interesting intellectual exercise. Interesting shave, too, with that blade flappin' around almost completely unsupported except for that single post at the stem.
I'll go digging in my cupboard to get it out, and have a shave with it. It's been a while. You have a good eye! The Astra 501 razor is a clone to the Schick Platinum. There`s also a Russian made razor a clone to the Schick too.
