That's a razor I always wanted to try but didn't order eventually. It is reputated to be decently manufactured and an upper medium aggressive razor, do you agree @Halfbeard?
But it seems Yintal (Weishi) has updated the razor head in the meantime (to a milder version, as it seems)... on the other hand, it still does cost next to nothing, on offer now right now for 16 bucks and coins, with a stand 🤷‍♂️

I have also understood that the Yintal cap makes the R41 more aggressive as well - at least with the apparently older version.

I think my local shave shop has the older one in stock.
Got one of the old Yintals around here somewhere. ;)

Personally, I thought the Yintal cap worked with the R41 plate in a similar manner as the SLOC cap - just not quite as good. :)

Superb shave!

Rosseforp

I think this fits, Gents
There will be. And with a @Rosseforp GTC 25g handle. ;)
I plan on giving my Vector a little more attention than it has been getting lately. The Feather Proguard only had a few shaves on it, but felt, sluggish. It wanted to be pushed around, and was a fun shave, but I had stubble when I woke up twelve hours later.
I'll try a Pink Kai for a few shaves, then maybe slip in a Proline for a few shaves too. I also want to feel the difference between using my 25 gram Common handle like with my last shave, and my 35 gram SR handle.

The Ti Vector is up to bat tomorrow for Single Edge Sunday. :001_wub:

Think I'll do a week of AC blade razors. :)

NOCvember shave number five.

NOCvember shave number five this morning. Last shave for this week with both the Gillette Flat Bottom Tech and a Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow. Another good shave this morning, nothing out of the ordinary to report just a really good shave. Sunday was good.

NOCvember shave 4 - almost skipped one

IMG_5704.jpeg

This might be my first shave with this D3 FatExecutive. Picked it up in Butte over a year ago.

GSB was found in my Super Adjustable. Seems pretty fresh. I am not a dedicated Gillette adjustable guy.

My absolute favorite vintage boar, Arko because it's great, Ice Blue Aqua Velva.

Set to 5, then 9 to sail through the maelstroms.

NOCvember is getting me into less charted waters. I may sail all my Gillette TTOs away from the dock for a change. They can go round the buoys against my Gem TTOs. TTOs will account for most of my SB fleet.

Notes:

Summary - A nice Sunday shave with my first DE. Not just that effective compared to other shaves.

Enjoy your shave!

I forgot I prefer a milder blade in the DS Ax. To make sure I'll remember for at least the rest of the day the Ax gave me three weepers.

The ax 1.55 was armed with a Gillette Platinum, Taylor of old Bond Street badger was used to whip up the PAA Clubguy and used Pinaud Clubman to finish.

People like this as an autumn scent because of the oakmoss. It gives me more of a spring vibe. To each their own I guess. Autumn and winter usually make me reach for something with more comforting notes.

It's another rainday over here, but I am hoping to get whacking at the driving range this afternoon. Roof over my head, mind set to 0 and swing for the stars.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Last night’s stupendous shave
@SlimGem Travel Raptor
Personna GEM PTFE (4)
Damp facecloth aka “shave binky”
Simpson Wee Scot 13mm badger brush
Pre-shave: Al’s new (old) lathering method
Lather: Wickham’s 1912 Club Cola bowl-loaded, face-lathered
Post shave warm shower
Post shave: mentholated Equate moisturizer

Wanted to see if the blade that started feeding harsh would feel smoov when held so I could feel the safety bar on my skin. It most certainly does. Shave felt faster, too, but wasn’t timed to confirm. I’m just ecstatic it can keep being excellent without eating the edge of a GEM blade in two shaves.
