Nice looking Single Ring

I wouldn't normally pay this much for a Single Ring without a case but it is in such nice condition that I couldn't resist. The high-resolution close-up photos convinced me that I should buy it. There are some spots of tarnish and plate loss but the teeth are in perfect condition, which is seldom the case on many Single Rings that I have seen as they are thinner than the teeth found on later Old Types.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to trying this razor as the other single rings that I have aren't in as good condition, although they are perfectly usable.

Can anyone recommend the best product to remove the corrosion? I understand that the silver plating is rather thin on these razors so I don't want to use any silver polish if I can avoid it. I never polish my razors until they shine as I think it's better to preserve as much of the original finish as possible. I like to clean them up until the metal is smooth to the touch, even if there are dull patches in the metal.

That would be the baking soda/aluminium foil method here - http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=146433
