I've been on here for a few days now, and I'm frankly amazed at how much I'm learning- It's a vast cesspool of information out there!! 
I was really gratified to learn that the razor I used for years, from the time I was @20 until the finish pitted off of it about 10 years later, is referred to here as 'Satan's Razor'- the Merkur Slant Comb. I feel great about getting back into DE shaving, and am looking forward to the delivery of my new Slant Comb, purchased from a fellow member here.
