Welcome aboard! As you can see already, the neck is an issue for most of us. I won't repeat the advice you have received. I will tell you that if you keep it at, and focus on the fundamentals, your blood letting will become non-existent. When I came back to DE shaving 6 months ago, nicks were a common occurrence. Now, I can't remember my last one. Take your time, and you will eliminate them-good luck and now go and shave!
