Bet that @Chan Eil Whiskers (and maybe a couple of others ) have been wondering about this.

Been noodling on the various ATT SE1 configurations and have settled on the following ranking order:

• ATT Mixed Metal SE1 (Aluminum Cap/Stainless Plate/@Rosseforp GTx 25g Handle). Best combination of efficient, smooth, nimble & maneuverable and predictable attributes. This combination most closely approaches my Top 4 AC blade razors and, with additional shaves, may turn the Top 4 into the Top 5.
• ATT Stainless SE1 with either one of my preferred Titanium handles or one of my @Rosseforp GTx 25g handles. Not as nimble & maneuverable as with the Al Cap. Still and outstanding razor that scores High on the balance of my required attributes.
• ATT Mixed Metal (Stainless Cap, Aluminum Plate, either one of my preferred Titanium handles or one of my @Rosseforp GTx 25g handles). Excellent shave, but I shave steep and don't like the feel of the Aluminum plate. Don't find it as predictable. Easier to overshave.
• ATT Aluminum SE1. Excellent shave, but least predictable of the options. Easiest to overshave problem areas.

All of the SE1 variants offer excellent performance and shaves. I could use the first two every day - exercising care, good technique and stopping at DFS or so results.

The AC platform deserves a lot more attention.

I'm assuming the same blade in all the razors. Is that right?

What do you think causes the differences in their ranking? Weight? Feel of the cap or baseplate? The geometries are the same, right?

Correct, used the same Kai Captain Titan Protouch MG throughout. My opinion: Excellent match for the SE1.

Geometries are the same and all iterations are capable of the same excellent results. The differences I noted are due to weight, balance and any propensity for over shaving my problem areas (around the mouth, jawline and neck).

Opening DecemBOAR 2022 with my favorite DE razor: the Blackland Razors Ti Blackbird (equipped with Doug’s GTC 25g handle and Perma-Sharp blade), and my favorite Boar brush: the Omega Jade 011842 Premium Pure Bristle (whips up outstanding lathers and feels wonderful applying said lathers)! Absolute shaving pleasure!

This week's Lather, Aftershave and Fragrance will be Martin de Candre Nature, Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal and Belcam G2bu. A wonderful combination that is very pleasing to the senses!

The Omega 10048 (Pro 48) Boar was the first Boar brush I bought after I joined B&B. Thoroughly broken in and soaked overnight, the Pro 48 is a perfect brush for DecemBOAR 2022 and Fatip Friday!

This week's Lather, Aftershave and Fragrance will be Martin de Candre Nature, Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal and Belcam G2bu. A wonderful combination that is very pleasing to the senses!

A blast from the past! The Merkur Progress was my only razor from 2013 until I joined B&B in 2019. The adjustment knob started slipping and I installed the Opgress modification - which works great! First time trying an Astra SP in the Progress/Opgress. Used Opgress settings (higher than the stock Progress knob) of 4 (WTG), 2 (XTG), 2 (ATG) and 1 (Touchups). The combination + settings resulted in a wonderful shave!

The Omega Model 10066 White Handle is a very cool brush. Great performance!

Always a pleasure to use the Blackland Razors Ti Vector SB. The Kai Protouch MG is a mellow blade. Combine the two and it's the perfect combination for a relaxing Sunday morning shave before Church and then Brunch!

The Zenith B34 Butterscotch Chubby is another one of my favored boar brushes. Looks cool. Performs wonderfully!

For today's shave with the Heritage Gibbs 15 Replica, I went with my standard Steep Angle 3-Pass plus Touchup Passes shave. Settings: WTG = 6, ATG = 4, XTG = 4, Touchup Pass = 2. The shave was DFS with no irritation or blood.

The Mondial required very little break-in compared to some of my other boars. Could be because it's not as densely packed? Nice brush!

This week I'm using Le Père Lucien Oud-Santal Lather, RazoRock Tuscan Oud Aftershave and Classic Match Oud EdT Spray Fragrance. A warm and luxurious combination!

Wasn't sure what to expect from the Shield Ti AC Razor. The packing is very basic: head, handle and stand are each wrapped in small bubble wrap and them placed in a box with "popcorn". Everything arrived unscathed.

Blade loading is a bit of a pain - the pins are on the base instead of the cap.
Size-wise, the Shield Ti is between the ATT SE1 and the Colonial Razors The General V2.

Got a Schick Proline P loaded and proceeded to shave. Hmmmm.....not bad at all. Performed my usual 3-passes + touchup pass. The shave was a very comfortable DFS+ with no irritation or blood.
The Shield Ti AC Razor turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Looking forward to more shaves with the Shield Ti so I can zero in on where it's ranked in my pantheon of razors!

The Semogue Owners Club (SOC) Premium Boar, Taj Resin Handle, is definitely one of my favorite boars. Love it!

Trying the Shield Polished Ti AC Razor again today. This time with Doug’s GTC 25g Handle. Nice balance. Better control. More nimble and maneuverable. Not too bad at all!

The Zenith B16 Aluminum is a decent boar brush. As with the Mondials, it likes to be reloaded from the puck. Still, it gets the job done.

The Omega 10081 Silver Beehive performs really well and won't break the bank.

I've written extensively about the Ti Vector paired with the Kai Protouch MG blade and Doug’s GTC 25g handle. I can use this combination every day!

Giving the Mondial 1908 Faux Ivory Boar a try with Cyril R Salter Indian Sandalwood - a particular favorite of mine. Worked much better than with harder soap and was a pleasure to use!

This week's Lather, Aftershave and Fragrance are well known to me. Cyril R Salter Indian Sandalwood Tub Cream is outstanding in all respects. Stetson Aftershave and Cologne are like old friends - been using them for well over 30 years.
