ive been looking for a way to stand my razors lately and couldnt find any pre-made stands so i went to the local B&Q and just as i was walking out feeling shocked at just how expensive a smallish piece of brass was, i noticed all the trim for cupboards and tiles, particularly the 7ft long piece of brass trim for £9. i still need to give this some legs but all ive done is cut it down and fold over the end parts so it was a little more rounded, i also sanded the inside of the cut out square to stop the sharp edges scratching my razors, i may still edge these with something. heres a few photos of it with my waiting to be cleaned razors. there is still plenty of the trim left to make five perhaps six more stand tops.
