I got moves like Jagger
Last shave with my Godrej Round Sludge :letterk1: this morning. It provided just over 2 month's worth of great daily shaves. 'Tis the little blue puck-o-joy in my book. :thumbup1:

Tomorrow will see me start in on a puck of Haslinger Aloe Vera.

Lol, restock? I keep waiting for the bit of sandalwood soap to vanish in my dish of lilac mix, and it never seems to change. At this rate whoever gets stuck with my estate is going to have to auction soap off, I seriously doubt I will ever use it all up.

Had it for a few years and the scent turned on me, started to smell like dandruff shampoo, not pleasant. I like the soap a lot, had a great time last summer with Glace Herbe so it was sad to toss the better part of 8oz of soap but when the scent goes south it doesn't matter how good the soap is.

Just 3 gone so far this year along with some samples and a frankensoap. Next up is what I think was the 3rd soap I ever bought, TOBs Grapefruit. This soap has held up scent wise over the years, its easily 90% plus left since soon after I bought it my SAD kicked into high gear and it fell by the wayside. Time to go back and see how it compares.

Great job! I’m still going strong with mine, though I’m shaving only 2-3 times a week at best. May have a month left to go.

Cade finished today. Outstanding run.

Next up is DR Harris Windsor. I have never allowed myself the luxury of buying and using a wood bowl. This one came in a BST lot or trade at some point years ago.

the iColoniali mango soap 3017 effort is completed. Early June - early October. Based on my COVID shave pattern of shaving every 2-3 days I would expect a couple months or so of daily shaves ordinarily. The last few shaves were loaded excessively due to the cream consistency the soap took on towards the end. I intentionally left it covered and morph into a cream because the shaves were so extraordinary.

My final assessment of this discontinued product is 4 of 5 stars. It will be missed.

Here's a pic of the empty container. Note the shiny inside is not because of moisture, it is coated with polyurethane to keep moisture from bleeding through the terracotta dish. The Cremo shave stick photo-bombed the image because I picked it up in early 2020 specifically as a travel soap and its been stuck in my Dopp kit lo' these many months of no travel. I decided to give it some fresh air and sunshine for a little bit until I make the final decision on what the next 3017 effort will be.

As mid-October approaches the temps in my area will start to drop noticeably so I'll likely go with something good for the dark cold months of winter. Not shaving every day I'm sure whatever I pick will see use easily through the end of the year and beyond.

You are in for a treat, the old haslinger tallow was awesome. I have tried the new version and I 'think' it is just a tiny bit not as good but this could be all in my head. I might have one tallow left, a blind comparison would be cool, just need to make sure I have the same scent in both.

It gave me some great shaves. The tube is only 100ml so it doesn't last like a tube of Proraso. As for the scent it has the typical Palmolive scent, but a bit muted. I preferred the Palmolive Classic until I started this 3017, now it has grown on me.
