after a short discussion with a friend of mine on the zinn gem automatic razor and its blades, it was mentioned by said person about the possibility of a half DE blade working in it. i attempted it this morning with a swede. a simple crack of the blade in half and a trim to both sides where its "squared", slipped the blade in and that was that. a quick and SUPER close shave; one of the closest, if not the closest one pass shaves of my life. the modification of the DE blade was much easier than with a SE blade, so i might stick with this method from now on with this razor
