Milling two soaps together?

Has anyone milled two soaps and mixed them together? I love my MWF but wish it had a nice aroma to it. I have been toying with the idea of mixing it with some Mama Bear or GFT soaps that smell better.

I think the MWF/GFT would be fine as both seem to have similar lathering properties. However, Mama Bear loads a little different on a brush so that might be problematic. I felt it best to ask here before I potentially ruin 2 pucks of great soap.

Also would milling MWF with a cream in something like a 3:1 ratio yield a soft soap something like Proraso soap?

Hehe yes MWF or Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap. "fix all" for the loss...

I am glad this should work. Now the only question is to re-use a soap bowl or just go for the shave stick???

I would suggest blending it in small test batches, different ratios and whatnot, to see which yields the results you like most.

And then post your findings here of course. :D

When I figured out that I don't like face lathering, I did this with a Speick shave stick and 2 samples of P160 that I had laying around.

There is a lot more Speick than the P160, but its' fragrance is a lot less.

I did it just to free up space.

In a Tupperware bowl, I grated the P160 right on top of the Speick, added a little water, and smoothed it down with a large spoon.

I guess we could call it FrankenSoap.

I milled some MWF and added to a freshly melted (microwaved for 25 seconds) Col. Conk's Bay Rum, stirring them together well. It was an interesting experiment, but not something I would try on a regular basis. I like MWF just the way it is.

I just did this for the 1st time last week.
i had about 1/3 of a puck of MWF and about a half stick of Valobra that I grated together.

I've only used it once so far, but it was pretty good.
It needs to firm up a little more before I use it again. I need to press it down with something other than my thumbs
