I'm set for a two-week trip to Germany next month and I'm trying to game out my shaving options a bit. I'm going to be doing the hostels thing, so trucking along a full-on Method kit doesn't seem practical at all. I'm curious as to what other Method guys find works for them on the road. This extends down to everything including the razor and blades.

Razor - Travel Merkur/23c, to be honest size difference isn't to greater thing so whatever you prefer.
Blades - Feathers or a "smoother" blade, albeit it needs to be sharp!
Your equipment - Cube and cutting balm. Add activator/AC for a more enjoyable shave.
Cloth/brush. And a compact leather pouch for it all!

Have you actually tried this out? To me the cloth and the cube are the most non-portable parts of the whole setup. I was thinking of taking a standard brush and cream, plus paste for a gloss finish and some conditioner. Not pure method, but hopefully enough to give good results.
