Merkur contact info

I want to return a Progress for the second time due to uneven blade gaps. I originally sent back to the store where I bought it at and a replacement was sent with the same issue. So now I want to send it to Merkur with a note stating the issue. Sorry but this is very frustrating. Any Idea??

It's a holiday weekend, give her some time. Don't you know never to try to get a European to do any work between July 1st and Labour Day? They're all out on their 6-week vacations :)

Don't worry. I'm getting close to TWO months now with no reply. It think that they made over 10,000 defective top head pieces for the Progress and have just decided that it's not cost effective to deal with the situation. Just better to take the heat and sell to the next batch of wetshaver converties.
 
Some of the unevenness can be corrected with the rotation of the head. PLEASE, check it without any blade loaded. Every time, I load a blade I check the evenness before fastening the screw completely.

So your comparing the head not being cut right causing uneven blade gap the same thing as not screwing the head on correctly and adjusting the blade to ensure there isn't uneven blade exposure?

I did have to send her a reminder, but once I got Ms. Rothstein's attention she took, care of my problem quite quickly. Seriously, though, it is a holiday weekend so I would expect her to out of the office until next week.

Does Ms. Rothstein only deal with U.S. enquiries or is she based in Germany?
 
I'm in the middle of an issue with Ms. Rothstein. One of her suggestions to me has been to work through Classic Shaving instead of sending my razor to Germany. I'm now waiting for Classic Shaving to get back from the holiday.

There wille never be a razor of this construction that ist perfect in the dimensions. Many customers are satisfied like this and use it for many years.

Most of our customers don't mind so you shouldn't either. We are
not going to help you and we feel that you shouldn't be too picky
