Sorry to hear this and yet I am struck by what a blessing you were to your father. Any father desires that his children excel in whatever field they are gifted for. To be able to watch them do so had to have been so very fulfilling for your dad. And then to hear from you the heartfelt gratitude you expressed to him - well, it just does not get any better.
Sorry to hear about your loss. Its a hard thing to deal with but in time it gets easier to deal with. I recently lost my mother so i know the pain well.
Many people come into this world and leave it without making a lasting mark. The memory of them fades as quickly as they did.
A few people, by determination, hard work, honesty and a sympathetic soul leave a mark on the lives of everyone they come into contact with.
It sounds like your dad was one of the latter.
My deepest condolences for your loss, and my deepest appreciation for the wonderful memories he built in your life.
It's always hard when you lose someone you love, especially one that has made a positive impact on your life, such as the one your father has obviously made on your life.
My hope is that you can find comfort in the loving memories he has left behind.
