Congrats. The Ares v2 is brilliant too.Purchased my Athena today…..super excited.
That Ares V2 looks like a winner as well. I could see that ending up in my den as well.

Wow! Stunning pair. Congrats! My Athena is on the way and has already passed through Customs in the USA, but I don't yet have an estimated delivery date.
Just arrived? I guess that means we’ll have a new group of Lambda owners in the coming days. It will be especially interesting to see your thoughts about how the Athena and Ares compare. I hope you will enjoy them both, in any case.
I’m in a similar spot. Looking forward to its arrival.Wow! Stunning pair. Congrats! My Athena is on the way and has already passed through Customs in the USA, but I don't yet have an estimated delivery date.

Darn! I'm not really into Patina and always wipe down my razors. I guess I will have to up my game on after service care. lolI’ve had my Athena for a short while now. It is a very good shaver. I don’t know if it’s quite as effortless (thought-free?) as my Tatara, but it is very nice. Also, I’m still trying out blades to see if a particular one stands out. I have been disassembling it and wiping it down after each use, but I do see the very beginnings of patina in a couple of spots. I’m debating on seeing how the patina develops and how it looks before polishing it away.

Same with mine.I've had my Athena for over 6 months now and it looks the same as new. I disassemble all my razors and wipe them down with a microfiber towel after each use.
Question to you gents with the Athena. Do you keep the razor in the box provided by Theo, or do you keep out in the open air after your shave? Thanks again fellows.Same with mine.
I keep mine in the box, but I leave the lid open for a few hours just in case the razor or blade are still damp. This has been fine so far.Question to you gents with the Athena.
