La Toja

I am staunchly a Proraso shave cream fan. Last week I was in need of a years worth of DE blades. I went over to WCS and loaded my cart with feather blades and decided I should get some cream as well.

I had heard much chatter on here about La Toja and decided I would try a tube of it. Wow, I really like it! Loved the cool feeling on my face during and after shave!

I do believe I will continue using La Toja! BTW......where is it made? I cannot decipher the maker through the writing on it.

Thanks fellas

If you loved the regular, I'd recommend trying the Sensitive, my Favorite, I find it's a bit more moisturizing & has a richer lather, great for the Winter.

+1. Shaved with it this morning. It's good for summer also--although it's not so hot today.

Thanks for the tip on sensitive La Toja, I will order some the next go round with WCS.

It's made by Schwarzkopf Henkel in Spain.
The sensitive is nice too. I stock up every time I head over.
The ASB and AS are both nice and very 'clean' smelling.
I'm a big fan.

My first time with this soap. I like the scent and it lather well. I'll get a new one, when I finish this one.

Now half as wise
You really need to pair the La Toja ASL with it. Great stuff. This is one of the few creams I sill use, and will replace when it runs out.

I could not agree more, though I picked up a tube of the sensitive on the B/S/T. I love this cream and I am a huge fan of Proraso's whole line of creams!

I was just about to post about my love for La Toja when I saw this thread. I got a tube of Classic for Christmas, and love it! I have moderately hard water where I live, and this stuff lathers up better than Proraso, which is no slouch itself. Maybe they have hard water in Spain?

I am glad I am not alone in appreciating how great this cream performs.

I bought a La Toja stick when I bought my 620. I love that stick and took the opportunity to get a tube of the cream. I really like both variants of that product. It works great in my hard water area.

I also love both the soap stick and the cream. I'm interested in the sensitive version. What is the scent with it like?

I just made and order and had it in my cart until i decided i had to cut the order down and i didn't end up buying it unfortunately. Next time.

It really surprised me at how good it is. I had never heard of it until it was offered in a B/S/T post and I took a chance on it. It's one of the most unsung and under rated shave creams you can find.
