GEM PTFE Stainless Steel (6th Use)
Yaqi Green Obsidian 24mm 2-Band Badger
Southern Witchcrafts Fougere Nemeta Soap & Splash
A very close three pass shave on two days growth, where I should have stopped after the second pass. The Shovelhead is one of my vintage GEM style razors that I just can't seem to get the knack of. A good bit of well earned irritation chasing the close shave. Could also be the GEM blade starting to let go a bit.
I so appreciate Southern Witchcrafts' Fougere Nemeta...my favorite scent!

Tried out the Syntesi and some of the other TGS products I got today.
Pre: Showered first then used Dawn of Glory pre
Razor: TGS SS Syntesi
Blade: Used a fresh Rubie laser that I just got 100 of
Soap: TGS Shibusa 2
Brush: PS Star Wisp 26mm
After: TGS Shibusa 2 zero alcohol after shave and Shibusa 2 beard balm
Overall Amazing DFS! Got 2 little nicks on the chin but will overall give a 9.7/10.
Pretty sure the Syntesi is my new favorite DE.

Fancied a rose themed shave so out came the MDC. 6S was paired with a fresh Astra Blue. Fantastic shave with no cuts, nicks, claret or irritation. Just how I like it
. BBS was the end result. No sting from the alum and the Trumper post shave products performed admirably. Topped of with one of my favourite Colognes.

Second last go! Old Type, GSB(4), Proraso boar, Body Shop Maca Root, Floid.
Smooth smooth BBS. Quite a bit of Floid sting, but no lasting discomfort. Great Sunday shave!

One day left and I might just make it after all! Lots of tempting razors, but I saw one listing disappear yesterday and I felt fine. No FOMO. BST does provide remaining itches. So far so good.
General - a very fine Sunday Science Shave. Blade has now been binned.

Did the same setup as yesterday.
Never thought I would like Zero Alcohol aftershave so much, but it works almost as well as my moisturizer.
Another DFS+ this time a 9.8/10.
Everything seems comfortable when shaving, not sure I would say ergonomic but nice and comfortable, and I like the balance.

The chunky handle is nice cause that's where all the weight is with the baseplate and cap being so thin.It looks good!

2.5 almost 3 days growth didnt stand a chance against the Lupo. My skill has definitely improved. Last year this razor was too much for me. Now it feels great, I could probably use it daily!
3 passes and I am left with DFS+++

A lovely, smooth and close three pass head shave on two days growth. The fresh Nacet blade in the mild Gillette Tech is such a wonderful combination. Makes me think if I had to pick a fixed four, these should be two of them. Should being the word doing a bunch of heavy lifting there! That's the head speaking, not the heart.
One more day and I'll be 1/1 on monthly GRUME! It's not been easy, as there's been some good sales recently. I feel for @Beto Salatini, as I nearly pulled the trigger on a Maggard order myself! I'm planning to sit out next month, but will still watch the thread. Planning for a yourshaving.com order and a trip to the semi-local Atlanta Barber and Beauty Supply. I'm going to beg for forgiveness versus ask for permission from the Chairwoman of the Finance Committee on that first part...wish me luck!
