John Creswick Sheffield Straight Razor

Recently restored John Creswick razor, made in Sheffield some time in the early half of the 19th century. Sympathetic restoration with blade grinding and glazing to remove pitting without destroying the etch, new blonde buffalo horn scales with black buffalo horn wedge, brass beehive collars with brass pins. Honed on a coticule to shave ready.

Blade is 13/16” wide at the toe, tapering back slightly. Wedge grind.
