I feel mild razors are better for beginners.
If the person has good judgement, why not? They handle way better and have much better brakes than "regular" cars. That makes them safer in my book.Would you give someone with a new drivers license a Corvette?
But I don't think that's likely, at least with the Gillette Fusion. I recently used mine for the first time in a long time, and was reminded how much pressure is needed just to achieve contact of the blades with my face.I think if someone has wetshaved with a cartridge and never used pressure, they could try an aggressive razor.

Would you give them a pedal car if they had to drive 50 miles?
Comfort is King at my house, I could care less how "aggressive" the razor is as long as I get a nice, close shave without weepers or irritation!
