I shaved with my Schick G type injector this morning. Wow . I am very pleased with the shave. I wish I would have tried one sooner. Thank you Kadett for the blades. I now understand why when people try these things they go wild for them.

Coincidentally, I broke in my Schick G1 this morning! Only got around to cleaning it up yesterday.

Previously have been using E2 and E3, trying to get in the groove with them.
The E2 head is different, exposure and projection of guard different from E3.
I think I can get it to work better, but it's been a bit unforgiving.
But the E3 has been very good to me. The G1 this morning was equally so.

I got these three because I really wanted to try Personna 74 blades, and the prices for those in DE are getting ridiculous. I'm finding I like these older injectors quite a bit. Not quite as confident with them as my favorite DE's but getting there.

THe only two safety razors I know of that give me "Straight razor" type shaves is the Injector and the Old Gem/everyready lather catchers. Awesome razors and I am happy you found out about them!

I believe this will make it into the rotation I want to use it for a week to see how I like it. But if the rest of the shaves are like the first I will be a happy camper!

I am like in the shaves that I am getting. However I wish it was giving me a closer shave. Other than getting a adjustable what would be a more "aggressive" shave. My hair is thick and course. My go to razor right now is a Futur set to 3 and working my way up.

Injectors really are great razors. I love my Hydro-Magic and get nothing but DFS shaves with it. Congrats on your new found love!

Glad they worked out. Injectors are the best razors IMHO. I haven't used a DE for over 6 months now.

My E2 & G1 Schicks, along with my Ever-Ready 1912 & 1924 are the best shaving safety razors I have ever used - by a long margin

Noting your location, I'm not sure. In the U.S.A., depending on where you are, you may be able to find them in a local store, but that's a little unusual. They're easily available online, but you may have to order in sizable quantities to get a good price. There have been group buys here on B&B, but I've just stockpiled a lot on my own.

No idea. This is something I've noticed other people doing occasionally, but haven't participated in myself. You can keep an eye open in the blade forum, or you can try to get things moving by asking a question there yourself.

I have been able to get The Chinese Schick's at one of the local drug store chains (Scolari's). The great thing is they are the same price as drugstore.com.
I think they're really good blades, not that I have anything else to compare them to but I have used them in a Schick Type L and a Gillette Injector and have gotten really close and easy shaves.
