maybe this is a bit a brag, so apologies up front! Its all because I'm typing this with a very good feeling BBS!
Landed in Mumbai last night, and this morning I got in a tuc-tuc to check out a few 'super markets' which in reality were the size of a decent 7-11 convenience store!
After checking two, there were no DE blades, no Mysore soap, but some creams and a few other bits and pieces. I found a pharmacy/chemist store and after asking in there, they found a box that contained a few boxes of Wilkinsons and Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum's (blacks) and Perma sharp stainless (Greens). Bought 3 of the blacks for 45 rupees a box (about 53 cents each) and 1 of the greens for 30 rupees (35 cents), and then picked up a tube of Godrej Cool Menthol for 54 rupees (62 cents).
I waited until now and had an awesome shave with the Godrej and one of the blacks (first time I've used one ever). Loved the methol effect, and after 3 passes and a touch up, BBS. Decent light and a mirror compared to home helped a lot, but feeling very clean and buffed!
Getting more Godrej will be easy, but need to track down some more Gillette Blacks and some of the Mysore soap before I leave!
