I do dumb things sometimes

I am a bit of a blade hoarder (I have a lifetime supply of DE blades), but I think I really over did it this time.

I picked up a very large pile of 1980s NOS English Wilkinson carts from an estate sale. Half are System II (earlier name for WII I assume?) and half are Profile. Boxes are in very rough shape from decades of storage, with most being damaged to one degree or another and dirty, but all but a couple are still sealed.

I did get what I think is a fairly good deal from the seller (DE blade price) though.

Why not? If you have a handle that works for these snd like the cartridges, this is an inexpensive way to shave.

When I do dumb things, I find it soothing to hear about someone else doing dumb things too . ...
I don't even know where to start if I was to account for stupid shaving purchases ...
Like, intending to hoard 5 tubes of Arko "Maximum comfort" shaving cream, based solely on one raving Youtube review, and then (by mistake) ending up with 5 tubes of an Arko aftershave balm instead, that turn out to be absolutely horrible ....
That is just one example.
I have learnt to take Youtubers with a grain of salt the hard way ...

Same thing ever B n M, or Online Retailer does, sell for profit, not for cost, you go to get something for effort.

Nothing dumb about your purchase. I would find a suitable handle and use them. There should be nothing wrong with them and even if you only get a few shaves out of each cartridge you are still in front. Wilkinson Sword make great blades both DE and cartridge.
