This could go in the Method Shaving section, but traffic there seems slow. Besides, I'm more interested in these products themselves than the whole RMWS.
Has anyone used these products? While the "block" would likely be, technically, a soap, but the time the other stuff is added I'm unsure what it is. Briefly, they sell several items that are to be used to build lather. I'm simply wondering if they're worth buying.

Enchante.com is the source.

I just placed my order for a starter kit and I'm awaiting its arrival. It cost $25 + $7 shipping = $32 total. There's a good video in the method shave section where Charles displays the power of the method. He takes a feather blade and buffs his face over 20 times over each hair follicle without any irritation or cuts.

I have heard the a's balm is outstanding. What gives me pause about trying the rest is needing to buy three separate items just to make lather. Also, the "shave cloth" looks pretty useless.

You can try out "the rest" with the starter kit for relatively cheap. The shave cloth works - according to Charles 2 videos on how to make lather or wet mix using it. Everyone wants to try the method at some point, and the starter kit makes it more affordable and practical.

You should be very careful on an Internet forum with visitors from all over the world, when you use the word "everyone".

Method Shaving is only going to be attractive to a small number of shavers, namely those fully obsessed with shaving, and those who are ok, with acquiring zero products locally.

3 products required to create a lather huh? Yeah count me out, noway, nohow. Opps..I am at least one person not at all interested, so that fully negates your "everyone" assumption.:lol:

Oh, look even further proof the the majority of us are probably not interested in "Method Shaving".:lol:
