Well I finally have my Hone/repair kit set
1 two sided sharpening stone- One side is very course the other fine I use this to draw out knicks in the blade.
1 Carborundum razor hone 2x6
My process it pretty simple. Starting from a knicked blade or and unset bevel I draw the blade spine first over the course side of the sharpening stone until the knick(s) has been drawn out. I go spine first here to protect the edge from the stone. Turing the stone over I run the blade edge first over the honing side to start fining the edge Next I move on to the Carborundem hone and run the blade edge first to hone the edge. Finally I strop the razor ( spine first) over the stone to set the hone.
Critiques, missing steps?
