Honeybee samples

I ordered some samples from Honeybee on Friday and they got here today. Thanks Sue!

The eighth sample is the 'South Seas' in the mug. I'm really looking forward to trying this out tomorrow morning.

That's a good sized sample, might have to give honeybee a try, how are the scents?

The scents are good but extremely light. The soap produces a good lather and gives a fine shave.

I think that she makes very good soaps. I am particularly fond of her Victorian Rose which has a wonderful rose scent.

They're 1oz and a good size for a normal mug. The scents I checked so far - the 'Fresh Lemon' and 'South Seas' - are very nice.

Drat. I had meant to pick up the rose, but there were so many shiny objects on that site I completely neglected to.

I've never tried Honeybee soaps but I can tell you right now I love the shape of her samples. They'll be easier to use than the some of the wedge samples I have around here.

I think the Honeybee samples are great, they're a very generous size and perfect shape especially for the price. The scents are nice without being overbearing, and Sue's customer service is fantastic. She's so responsive and helpful, I'm definitely looking forward to my next order.

Tried my first Honeybee shave this morning. Used the South Seas - a somewhat flowery version of rain on a tropical island. Nice. I loaded the brush for about 20 seconds in the mug and was able to produce four or five passes worth of thick, slippery lather in short order. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up falling in love with this stuff. And that's without taking the low price into account.
