+1 for Saddleback. Here's mine:

They don't offer this one anymore. I paid about $160 for it; it was on sale. Loaded with stuff, I could easily use it as a morning star (swung by the strap) against 'ner do wells and criminals who are up to no good. Another option:

I have a bifold wallet from them. Still going strong. I think their travel bags would be a good investment.

Avoid. No where near worth what you'd pay for it. They still haven't posted my mediocre review.

Hard to argue against Saddleback.

Freitag's Wayne is a brilliant dopp kit, I have used it for ages and it never disappoints.

Redoxx has two options:

Their toiletry bag (Tri fold shave kit: Toiletry Bags - https://www.redoxx.com/collections/toiletry-bags) that I do not have but looks spot on:

I have the Nomad (Nomad Shave Kit - https://www.redoxx.com/products/nomad-shave-kit), which is simple, spacious and well built.
More affordable as well.

And here's my wildcard, a bag I would like to try:

The Henry by Feuerwear.

I've used a cheap cloth box-like dopp kit bag for years without issue. It packs light in my gym bag and travel duffle. I have a fancy leather one but I end up using that to store soaps and razor blades.

I own a bunch.

They do a good job on full-size luggage and briefcases. But when it comes to small stuff like a dopp kit ... they are like the carpenter that makes everything out of 2x4's and 2x6's. Great for building a house or a deck or a fence ... but not so much when it comes to making a dining room table and chairs.

Now, I'm using a Large Elviros Dopp Kit Toiletry Bag (28.97US).

What I love about this kit is:
  • WET SEPARATION: The two outside compartments can keep the wet/dry separated like wet towel or swimsuit. Dry quick and easy to clean. No worry that favorite clothes ruined by spilled shower gel or liquid
  • WATER RESISTANCE STURDY MATERIAL: Exceptionally well built, the toiletry bag is made of PU leather, water-resistant nylon lining to keep moisture out of the bag. Premium zipper and reinforced seams are also implemented for long-lasting performance
  • WATERPROOF SHOES BAG GIFT: Comes with a waterproof bundle pocket, put your shoes, dirty clothes, etc., 100% waterproof fabric to ensure everything is dry!
  • UPGRADE LARGE CAPACITY: Multiple pockets inside, which can contain most of your toiletry necessaries orderly in the bag. Dimension: 12" x 6.7" x 7.1"/ 30.5cm*17cm*18cm (L*W*H)
  • DOUBLE ZIPPER LARGE OPENING: This long-lasting toiletry bag features a unique double zipper design, which allows for easy access to its inner contents. Simply pull on the connected zip puller for full exposure.

I’ve got one by Swiss Gear. IIRC I got it way back in 2002. I’ve used it for every trip since then and there is nothing wrong with it. Very basic. One zipper down the middle and one zipper on the side. Over the years I’ve looked at lots of Dopp bags and I just can’t pull the trigger on a new one because there is absolutely nothing wrong with the one I got. I really would like a nice leather one. Something to last another 20 years, get some age on it, look rough and used, well worn and traveled. But dang…the Swiss Gear just won’t die.

Similar to this but more like a football shape.

How organized do you want it to be and how much are you looking to spend?

I don't like all my items just thrown loosely in a bag so I looked for organization. I settled on the BAGSMART Large since I do carry a few things more than I probably need.
Very low cost and is holding up well, may not last like a leather or canvas but I can replace it 4-5 times over for the same price.
