Not really but I tried shaving with the mild one (+) and notice how hard it is to tighten it as it really bends the blade. So last few shaves I didn't tighten it all the way and becomes adjustable razor. You can almost loosen it by full turn and still have huge amount of tension where the head will not unscrew during a shave. When you don't tighten it all the way, blade gap increases and blade exposure also increases as the blade is not flexed all the way in sticking out more. Becomes crazy aggressive. You can dial in how aggressive you want. Works great for 7 day growth

I believe the folks at Henson actually tried this, but the problem is that you aren't able to get it to dial in the same way each time so they don't promote it. Given that its your razor, you certainly can do whatever you like. And as long as you're getting good results that's all that matters.
Given that one of the positives about the Henson razors is how rigidly the blade is clamped, you may want to try shims instead of a loose head. That may give you more gap and still maintain rigidity.
