hair conditioner lather

I recently discovered something that I think would benefit alot of people. Researching on how to soften a terribly tough beard, i stumbled upon the trick of using hair conditioner. Then I thought if I added a drop or two to the shave cream with the brush I would get an excellent shave. Indeed I was correct. A few drops of moisturizing conditioner added to Caswell Massey sandalwood produced one of the best shaves I have ever had. The conditioner seems to lubricate in a way that the cream never could. Anybody have any techniques on this method?

I have used Paul Mitchell trea tree oil conditioner towards the end of my shower in the morning. I let stay on my face and lather with cream. Use a wet hot towel and relather. So, I kind of loose the conditioner when use the towel. I just might add some the lather to experience the difference. Thanks for the info. Peace out
