got my first coti today off of paul(Baker&Badger) and got me exactly what i needed. photos will follow soon . but whilst trying to set the bevel on my dovo 41 blade i cant seem to get the bevel to show at all near the toe on the non engraved side for bout <10mm not right at the tip but . after reading the coticule.be unicot method loads of time doing that way 30x half strokes both sides and test for shaving hair off arm.but the bevel runs parallel everywhere except at this point any help ?

Pics would help a bit. But not being able to see it I would guess the grind is a little off on the razor, so when you get to the toe on that side you need to apply a tiny bit of pressure closer to the edge. It might even lift the spine off the hone depending on how the grind is. You may even need to do a rolling x on that side.

Looks like it might be ok, although there is a larger bevel at the toe. It could be from too much pressure at the end too. Try inking the bevel with an indelible marker and then making a pass on the coti to see if it indeed isn't contacting the hone.

the bevel at the front is the same on both sides its how it came from dovo .
so u recon a bit of pressure on the area that isnt touch in . and put it on my hone u can see its not touching .
Not so much pressure on the sense you are trying to flatten it, but more trying to rotate the razor so it touches.
