Gillette Pacific Light? Anyone use?

I was going through my cabinet below my sink and came across what appears to be either a sample or more likely a hotel provided small bottle (glass even!) of aftershave. The lael says" Gillette Series After Shave" and in script below it says "Pacific Light". It also says alcohol free. On the back... "Extra Moisturizing" and Not for sale.

It doesn't appear I ever opened the bottle. It must be over ten years old.

Anyone use the stuff? Would the stuff be any good? I have been a bit cautious about opening to try a sniff test... I have been watching too many sci-fi and horror movies lately.

I've never heard of Gillette Pacific Light but it should be safe to use. I use vintage Old Spice and Avon after shaves from the 70's and 80's and they still smell great but they all have alcohol in them.

Ahhhhh. That was the red-headed stepchild of the Cool Wave, Wild Rain, Pacific Light era. I envy you, my friend.

Pacific Light was introduced 1996/97 ish but was discontinued after a few years. I really liked the scent. I kept a PL deodorant that I bought in 2004 and have only used half of it so far. It smells similar to the Cool Wave aftershave.

Update: My ebay order just arrived from Spain today. The unused bottle is in mint condition and though I was worried the fragrance might be gone: it smells as good as I remember. I assume the bottle was produced October 2001. Next to the bar code it reads "10/01".
It cost me ca. $30. It's well worth the price for an unused bottle of a vintage fragrance that has been discontinued many years ago (2005ish?). I'm not sure how long it's been since my last PL avtershave. Probably 20 years.
It does have a similar fragrance like the Cool Wave aftershave but it's lighter and not as spicy.

Never got to try Wild Rain though I remember it. What did it smell like?
