Thanks for the feedback! I don't remember the US vendor, but IIRC it was about $6 for one razor and blade plus about $7 shipping -- it just didn't sit well with me knowing that they probably had about $0.25 in the razor and could send it in a padded envelope. The Maggard's price now is much more reasonable. But I should be good to go with the package from India, which I think is 10-12 blades. I razor pit my Mach III carts and get about 30 shaves, so I think the Guard carts will last a while.

Well got my Guard and after the initial shave I'm not impressed. I felt like I had to use more pressure than I like, and I ended up with some razor burn on my neck which I've never gotten with a Mach 3, Fusion, Trac II, Bic, etc.
Been at this long enough to know that user error is the most likely culprit so I'm not giving up on the Guard, yet.
